We were commissioned to create this video to communicate Central Indiana’s Transportation Initiative. Our client CVR, wrote the script. We then created the video. Our client sent some nice words today:
I want to thank and congratulate you and your team for the highest standard of professionalism you showed in this project and for going an extra mile beyond the limits of budget and time. I really appreciate it.
The video was produced in 30 days, using a combination of live action footage, green screen compositing and 3d modeling.
This video shows how The Future We Want 3D Toolkit will allow planners, developers and citizens to envision transit oriented urban infill projects. For more information visit www.futurewewant.org or email jarnold@arnoldimaging.com
We presented the web enabled version of the Fort Sill Interactive Master Plan to the Army Corps of Engineers last week in Lawton, OK. The interactive application will allow the Garrison Commander to communicate the status of 38 improvement projects that are scheduled to take place on the post over the next several years.
A easy to use administration panel allows project managers to keep each project’s information up to date. Filters allow viewers to access only the information that is relevant to them, while easy to edit play lists will facilitate public meetings and presentations.
We have partnered with The Presidential Climate Action Project and Place Matters to create an immersive exhibit about climate change. With most of the imagery done to date being centered around the gloom and doom that will take place if we fail to act, this exhibit is intended to paint a vision for what a low carbon built environment will look and feel like.
The exhibit will be 1,000 sf and likely be exhibited in the Chicago Field Museum next year. Climatologists predict that we have 10 years to implement significant carbon reduction measures before severe and lasting damage to the climate as we know it takes place.
Our role was to design the exhibit space and create the short films and interactive segments for the large immersive screens within the exhibit.
It is our hope that the Future We Want exhibit will inspire leaders and citizens to rally behind the solutions to climate change and act to preserve the environment for future generations.
We were awarded the Army Corps of Engineers Excellence in Teamwork award this week. The caption on the award reads:
“For your outstanding contributions to the successful Project Delivery Team’s completion of the Fort Sill Fly-Over Animation DVD. This video will be used to promote Fort Sill and its many attribtutes to Army commanders, soldiers and community leaders. The final interactive DVD has over 20 minutes of animation and an unlimited ability to intereact and view separate points of interest to show the future state of Fort Sill after many of the BRAC projects were complete.”
We were also just awarded a second phase of the project where we will be porting the interactive presentation that we created to the web and adding the ability to search for projects based on various criteria.

When the University of Kansas needed a way to show their vision for the new athletic facilities for Allen Field House and Wagner Hall they called us. Working with Gould Evans Architects, we created a short film that what the new facilities will look like and how they will be used.
We filmed 28 models in our green screen studio in two days and inserted them into the proposed spaces, which we modeled and rendered in the computer. We were honored to work on the project. Go KU! Read the rest of this entry »

Kansas City, Mo. – A three-minute video segment produced by Arnold Imaging gave Midwesterners all the help they needed to visualize the future of their region when Kansas City Public Television started airing “Imagine KC”. The opening segment depicts how light rail transit transforms land uses and lifestyles for the benefit of all. The project is the latest in a string of success stories for the KC-based studio which has successfully marketed over $6 Billion in smart growth real estate developments and forward thinking energy projects since its inception in 1997.
Vela is a condominium project in Las Collinas, just outside of Dallas. We produced a video that would show the lifestyle the project will offer. We art directed, filmed, animated and edited the final video.
